Questions about the home, land and next step
Does the home come with land?
Check the exact listing. A home listed with land is different from a home on leased land, where you rent its space. Ask which land is included in the sale and which records confirm ownership. A lot size or place name alone does not answer that question. If the listing does not say whether land is included, ask before you decide.
What should I ask about lot rent and the lease?
Ask for the current lot rent and a copy of the written lease. Check which charges are included, what can change, and whether you can take over the lease when you buy. Confirm the terms for the exact home. The asking price does not tell you the cost of renting the space.
How do I check the full monthly cost?
Start with the home price. Ask for current quotes or records for any loan payment, lot rent, property taxes, insurance and other fees that apply to that home. Check what is included so you do not count a charge twice. Use those actual figures to compare homes; a listed price alone is not a monthly budget.
What does a lender need to check for this home?
Ask a lender to review the exact home and its land arrangement. Ask how the home is titled, meaning how ownership is recorded, and which records the lender needs about its age and foundation. This page does not confirm a loan, a rate or an approval. Get answers for the property before you rely on a payment quote.
How do I check the community rules?
Ask for the written rules that apply to the exact property. Check the lease and any homeowners association rules; that is a neighborhood group that may charge fees and set rules. If pets, renting, parking or changes to the home matter to you, ask about them before you buy. A community name does not confirm permission.
How can I learn more or ask to view a home?
Open a home’s listing card to read its details and see the available photos. Save the address or listing link and note the questions it does not answer. Use the contact page to ask about that home, including whether a viewing is possible. Confirm its availability and the viewing arrangements; this page does not book an appointment.
